The laboratory

We would rather describe what the laboratory does than tell you we have one. It sits in four places along the chain.

01

Incoming raw material

Nonwovens, tapes and adhesives, SAP, moisture, tensile strength, and the rest. Nothing enters production without passing through this bench. A lot that fails here never reaches a line.

02

During production — DUPRO

Absorbency, size, weight, and the distribution of fluff pulp and SAP through the core. The core is where a hygiene product is won or lost, and a well-made core that is badly distributed fails in use.

03

End of line

Bags, cases, seals, counts, print, coding. The package is part of the product: a bag that splits in a warehouse has failed as surely as a pad that leaks.

04

Across the whole chain

Quality control at every step, plus research — the materials science behind these products is set out at length on maxidry.tech.

What we send outside, and why we say so

Certain very specific ISO tests, bacteriology, and the legal testing a particular state requires are performed by outside laboratories. We say so deliberately. A factory site that claims to do everything in house gets caught; one that names what it subcontracts can be checked, and survives being checked.

The materials we work in

Superabsorbent polymer and fluff pulp in the core, nonwoven topsheet, breathable or laminated backsheet, hot-melt adhesive, elastic. Grammage is specified in g/m², core content in grams, and both are recorded per product so that a repeat order is a repeat and not an approximation.

On absorbency, we publish nothing

Absorbency is a property of a recipe. We calculate it from the recipe for a given product on request, against the method you name. We do not print a number on a web page, because a number on a web page is not attached to a recipe and cannot be defended.
